HOW TO COMPLAIN…
1. From ‘Sort US Out’ website
Make a complaint
If you have a complaint about any aspect of your student experience at Sussex, for example:
the way in which your course or programme is taught or assessed;
the learning support available;
misleading information in prospectuses or in advertising or promotional material;
any deficiencies in the University’s service or performance etc.
…then let the University know about it!!!
Be specific – what happened and why, why you think it happened, what you think should be done etc.
Ask questions and demand answers and action.
The University’s complaints procedure can only cope with about 60 complaints a year. If they receive thousands of complaints they won’t be able to cope and the complaints will then go to the Office of the Independent Adjudicator for Higher Education (OIA), an independent reviewing body. We need to reach them in high numbers in order for our complaints to be taken seriously.
Details of University’s complaints procedure (for students):

“For all staff and students we are also seeking comments by email direct to proposal@sussex.ac.uk”
PLEASE CC ALL COMPLAINTS AND FORWARD RESPONSES TO WELFARE@USSU.SUSSEX.AC.UK AND SUSSEXSTOPTHECUTS@GMAIL.COM
